how stoked am i that for me, for you's kate miss put some of her awesome jewelry up in her etsy shop? as a HUGE fan of friendship bracelets (i had a cottage industry in the 4th grade producing those suckers) i can't wait to get my hands on her modern version of a classic. of course, since she sold out almost immediately, it might be awhile before i do. time to break out my own stash of embroidery floss? friendship bracelets for everyone!

the gal who sparked my sparkly louboutin crush also styled this amanda seyfried shoot (see those red soles?) which i kind of love. especially those glasses. those glasses!!! i've been blessed (cursed?) with near-perfect vision my entire life and am especially covetous of crush-worthy frames. her little jammies jam in the last pic is kind of killing me too.

sparkle motion.

one of my favorite things about going to photo shoots is checking out all the amazing clothes that the stylist has pulled. i get to fondle multiple racks of things i would never actually touch in real life. on friday, i dropped by the cover shoot for our oct/nov issue (can't say who it is yet but it is gooooood! stay tuned...) and i fell in L-O-V-E with this pair of christian louboutins. this photo doesn't do them justice. luckily i am a lady of standards, or i would've swiped 'em right then and there and smuggled them out in my bottomless pit of a purse.


they totally remind me of my black converse from high school that i covered in silver glitter nail polish. behold, the fancy, adult version. of course they come with a fancy, adult price tag, too. boo.

two of my favorite things, j.schwartz and chloe. you can't go wrong. adding an o.g. poncho, a cigarette-puffing hula-hooper, and some sweet skateboarding is all icing on the coconut records cake.

one of my favorite blogs is the always stylish, ever-classy camp comfort. so when roberta jane asked me to partake in her "how i'd wear it" series, featuring these totally boss denim shorts from topshop, i was completely stoked. and admittedly, a little intimidated...just check out all the other amazing bloggers she featured! here's my jam, what i'd wear for a bike ride to the beach. now if only those vintage dior sunglasses were on my face instead of in my internet imagination....
